Rashmi Kathuria, Teacher of Kualchi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, received an Award from President APJ Abdul Kalam The President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam applauded the efforts made by teachers of Shiksha India, an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to equip schools with e-learning facilities to students across semi-urban and rural areas. He encouraged teachers for using innovative methods of e-learning while attending a function as the Guest of Honour for Shiksha's First National Awards on e-Excellence.
Rashmi Kathuria (Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi) was rewarded for her outstanding performance under the Shiksha India Programme. This is Shiksha’s first National Award on e-Excellence.

3rd Computer Excellence Award-2004

Kulachi Hansraj Model School achieved one more landmark, adding shimmering glitters to its already bedecked crown. Yes Kulachi Hansraj once again proved the competence, hard dedication & zeal of its students & teachers. KHMS is the proud recipient of 3rd Computer Literacy Excellence Awards for Schools- 2004, instituted by Deptt. of Information Technology, Ministry of communication, Govt. of India. The State Award consisting of a trophy and cash a prize 1.5 lakhs and The National Award consisting of a silver trophy and cash prize 7.5 lakhs was given by The Hon'ble President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at an award distribution function held on 7th Dec. 2005 at Vigyan Bhawan.

Scholarship/Awards to the Meritorious Students of Kulachi Hansraj Model School

A German proverb says "To reach the top of the ladder, one has to start at the bottom." The question arises what does it take to get to the top? The answer is sincere hard work, determination, deeper commitment and total dedication towards the task on hand. Yes all the children of Kulachi Hansraj Model School who were given scholarships on their meritorious success are an ample proof of dedication and sincerity.
Those children who excel in the Board Examination of class X and XII and other classes from class I to IX and XI take the institution to blazing heights and leave an indelible imprint on the sands of time. To acknowledge their efforts, school gives them scholar badges and scholarships. Thus providing motivation for others who can emulate them.
Parents of all those meritorious students were invited every year. Students getting 95% and above receive scholarship of rupees 12,000/-(twelve thousand each). Students securing marks between 90 - 95% received Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand) each. Students in the category of 85 – 90% got Rs. 2100/- (Rupees two thousand one hundred) each. Scholars Badges are also presented to all these students. According to Mrs. P. Datta Principal of KHMS, these scholarships are an acknowledgment of students’ sincere efforts and utmost dedication. According to her the glory of students is the fulfillment of our dreams. She conveys her heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their contribution and motivation in building the career of young children. She has promised to put her best efforts for making all opportunities available to these youngsters so that the excellence and competence can be achieved.

World-Chess Champion Sahaj Grover is continuously establishing new landmark. He has come back from lceland (Denmark) where he played “Open Matches with Grand Masters” and received prize money 1500 US dollars from the Prime Minister o of Denmark.

Deeksha Lal

Deeksha Lal received a scholarship from the Max-Mueller Bhawan, for an all expenses paid educational tour to Germany from 26.06.08 to 26.07.08

Prachi Khurana

Prachi was selected for Japan East Asia Network of exchange for students and youth (JENESYS) commemorating fifty years of Indo-Japanese friendship, spanning over a period of 10 days from 26th May to 6th June, 2008.

Pratisht Bakshi & Samridh Bakshi

Pratisht Bakshi & Samridh Bakshi took part in this competition. It is a great honour for our budding Karate Champions to bring laurels to our school.

Ankur Chouhan, is a National Level Skating Champion. He has participated and won many laurels at the State Level also.

Little Swim master Ishan Sen of UKG is our Budding swimming champion, who has won 2 gold, 2 silver medals in 50 mts free style and breast stroke swimming championship.

Tejaswi Bhardwaj student of Class XII was selected to represent – The Indian cricket team under 15 to play different matches in U.K.

Kunal Bakshi of class XI was selected to play under -15 Syndicate International Cricket Cup in Durham, UK. For the Don-Basco Cricket Academy New Delhi India.

Kathak Dancer Nikita Jain cleared fifth year & second year in Vocal Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, U.P.
Since the age of five years, Nikita has been learning to dance, under the able guidance of her Guru Shri Ramesh Kumar. She has given many solo Kathak dance performance.

Karanjot Singh

Karanjot Singh bagged the first position in all India IIO-07 (International Informatics Olympiad). He received a PC for his achievement.

Taksh Gupta

Taksh Gupta, a student of class XI has been an all round performer. He has achieved distinction in academics, ABACUS, National and International Olympiads.
Taksh has received 4 Gold Medals, one Silver Medal and a Bronze Medal in Olympiads.

Our student Chirag mahajan class - V of Hansvatika Day-Boarding centre has been awarded II-Rank in the IOEL at the International level. He has won a Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-
